Welcome to Smart TMS Birmingham
Our location in Birmingham Business Park, offers innovative TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) therapy to patients in need of a new approach to treating depression, anxiety, addiction and a range of other mental health conditions.
TMS therapy is a safe and completely non-invasive treatment which involves no medication, surgery or anaesthetic. Daily sessions are carried out by our trained practitioner over a few weeks, as the effectiveness of treatment builds up over a course of treatment.
Thanks to excellent road and rail links, Smart TMS is easily accessible for patients across the Midlands.

How to get to Smart TMS Birmingham
New location, Birmingham Business Park:
Our new location is centrally located close to junction 6 of the M42. It is less than 2 miles from the airport and Birmingham International train station. It has direct links to Birmingham and the M6.
The new location sits outside the “Clean Air Zone” charge but you may be affected if driving through the city centre. Please check before you travel.

Meet the Birmingham team
Nikki - TMS practitioner
Nikki Green completed her Psychology BSc (Hons) at Newman College studying a variety of subjects: cognition, neurological, biological and psychopharmacology amongst others. She completed her dissertation on Public Attitude towards Mentally Disordered Offenders. From there she spent some time working in CAMHS on an inpatient unit with children from the age of 5 up to 16, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Tourette’s Syndrome, Psychosis, Depression, Somatoform Disorder. Then transferred to work on a Female Acute Unit, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia amongst others. She also spent time volunteering for Childline and as an appropriate adult for the Youth Offending Service.
She has always been passionate about Mental Health and creating a person-centered therapeutic environment for every patient. Throughout all her roles she has gained valuable knowledge and experience to be able to provide the utmost care and support to patients. Thus, enabling her to give the best care and attention she can by creating a therapeutic environment for patients when visiting Smart TMS.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family.
TMS treatments available
TMS has been proven to treat depression and anxiety as well as other mental health conditions and some addictions.
Most of the patients we treat here at Smart TMS (around 70%) are suffering from clinical depression – including seasonal affective disorder (SAD), perinatal depression and bipolar disorder.
